TV's Most Annoying Neighbors

Saturday was National Good Neighbor Day (the holidays they come up with, huh?). Sometimes a good neighbor is someone who takes your garbage can out to the street when you're on vacation. Sometimes a good neighbor is someone who brings you baked goods. Other times a good neighbor is someone who leaves you the heck alone! In the spirit of Good Neighbor Day, here are some examples of some not-so-good neighbors. In fact, they are TV's most annoying neighbors: 10. Marcy Darcy ( Married with Children ) Imagine working all day as a measly shoe salesman (just so that your wife can try to spend all your money at the mall) and then coming home to find the rich, opinionated next-door-neighbor there. Not only is she there, she's filling your wife's head with all kinds of notions about how you should be more romantic, more generous and not such a tightwad. That's what Al Bundy had to deal with, living with Marcy Darcy. I'd insult her too, Al. Liberated, kn...

10 totally cool items that should be real

I watched Men In Black 3 the other day (pretty good movie...a review likely to come at some point) and saw their completely awesome....uni-motorcycles, for lack of a better term. The one, large wheel was on the outside and the seat was inside of it. The design allowed easier maneuvering than your typical two-wheeled motorcycle. The bikes also made for a pretty fun action scene. Mostly, though, they made me want to ride on one of those for real. If only... It got me thinking about some of the other things in movies and TV shows that should be real. There's actually several things that came to mind pretty quickly. Here's the list I've come up with. From 10 to 1, these are the totally cool items that should definitely be real: 10. The Turtlecom ( Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ) For those not familiar with the TMNT universe, the TurtleCom was a way for the turtles and their pal April O'Neal to communicate with each other in times of emergency because let...

The Big Bang Theory (Seasons 1 - 4) - reviewed.

It’s been a while since I’ve been in the blogosphere. That’s because I’ve been busy watching the greatest sitcom since Seinfeld . I’m talking about The Big Bang Theory . Yes, I’m just realizing the awesomeness that is Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, Wallowitz, and Penny (knock-knock, Penny, knock-knock, Penny). I’m usually a few years behind when it comes to TV shows. When a show hits syndication and starts airing on TBS, FX or some other cable channel is when I start watching it. With the exception of Lost, I’ve never really watched a television show as it was airing. It was always too much work to remember to watch it each week. Being able to set recordings on VCRs and DVRs made it easier, but, even then, I’d forget to set the VCR or my DVR would be too full to record. Anyway, I got The Big Bang Theory on DVD. Several people were telling me what a good show it was, so I decided it was time to catch up to speed. I caught up through the fourth season and now I’m thoroughly add...
