Avengers: Endgame - reviewed. (the spoiler-free version)

Wow! Wow!! On so many levels. Unlike some Star Wars movies, unlike The Hobbit or Lord of the Rings , Avengers: Endgame is not disappointing in any way. There are maybe two very minor things I could pick at, but that's it. Maybe two minor things in an entire 3 hour movie. Without giving spoilers, the most important thing I'd say is that nobody will be disappointed in this movie. You can't be disappointed if you liked any of the other Marvel movies ... at all. Some characters got more screen time than others, so fans of one particular character may not be happy about that, but the movie made sense for every character that so there's just no legitimate complaining about it. That's probably the most impressive thing about the movie: the writing. Sure, visuals were great (though I think I was more impressed by Aquaman in that aspect). Sure, the fight scenes (one in particular) was amazing. Yeah, the music was spot on --- taking you on a rollercoaste...

The Avengers: Infinity War - reviewed.

What an action-packed movie this was, huh?! Marvel and Disney have been working toward this for years and it really did come of as massive team-up movie. I really liked how they kept the feel of the individual characters while telling the overall story of Thanos and his quest for the Infinity Gauntlet. The story was pretty straightforward though they really made Thanos out to be a more dynamic character than just a power-hungry villain. The backstory of Titan made him almost human — just misunderstood. Still a bad dude but you could see where he was coming from and where he went wrong. Oh, and let's talk about his costuming.  I was very skeptical when I saw the trailer and he didn't have his battle gear on or his helmet.  He does adorn that at certain parts of the movie and I got used to seeing the movie version very quickly. It was a quick adjustment if you're used to the traditional comic book version, so good on Marvel for making that decision on the c...

Actors who have had multiple super hero roles

Several stars have had multiple roles in super hero movies or television shows. It’s bound to happen with so many different super hero offerings these days. Whether it’s on Netflix, on cable, in the theaters or on another subscription service, there is a lot of super hero content being churned out by Hollywood right now. That being said, there's a surprising number of actors who have I'm not the biggest fan when actors are cast as different roles in the same super hero universe. If it's one role in a DC movie and another role in a Marvel movie, that's different. However, I still like to see fresh faces. So which actors can Hollywood not seem to get enough of? Which actors keep showing up in the super hero genre? There's actually quite a few. I'm missing a few of the more minor roles, but here are 14 examples of actors who just couldn't stay away from the super hero genre. Josh Brolin This is his year. After making cameos in various Mar...
